I use the new Sony DSR PD170
3CCD digital cameras. In my humble opinion, they're the best
"wedding cameras" on the market. They are unobtrusive
and better suited for capturing candid moments than the larger
cameras. In the old days, it was hard to blend in with the guests
when I had a giant machine on my shoulder. It looked impressive,
but it drew too much attention and intimidated some people. Now
it's easier to be "Mr. Invisible".
Churches do not allow videographers
to use lights during the ceremony. The PD170's impressive light
sensitivity produces colorful, non-grainy video even in the darkest
of churches, and it beats every other 3-chip digital camera in
this department. It makes blinding you and your guests with
overly-bright lights unnecessary.
